We are going to call this site SWE

This SWE is an old informational site of mine, started back in late 2024.

It was once a huge site (in terms of clicks) banking millions of traffic per month.

Now, on 10th of July, 2026, here is what 28 days graph looks like

Target:

The target is simple, take it to 2k clicks per day, or 60k clicks per month…so in just 30 days, I have to optimize the site enough that when I look back on last 28 days stats on 10th of September, they should show 2k clicks per day, instead of this 2.49k in the last 28 days.

What I am going to Do

#1 Update Posts – OnPage

A lot of posts on the site are old, some have outdated information and others are of no value at ll. Here is what I am going to do with them

Got the list through Sitemap
Sorted by Last Modified Date (old at top)
- Opened first Post
- Copied whole content
- Gave it to Claude (Opus, 4.8, high)
- My prompt was something like > check the content for facts through official site, compare with current ranking urls, update facts, and content, keep tone same, no-em dashes please 😛
Updated the Post
Resubmitted it in GSC

Now, I have to repeat this around 60 times, I do check manually before updating, also I do update interlinks before saving.

#2 Select Posts to Track and Rank as per Plan

Currently we have around 50+ posts that have main kws with some monthly volume, but only few of them are above 1k+ monthly volume. If I want to 2k+ clicks per day, I need at least 20 posts, each with 1k+ volume to be in top 3, and then I might be able to achieve that 2k+ clicks per day.

For that, I will do the KW research + I will recheck the kws of the current posts.

For example, a post has main kw with 100 volume only, what I will do is, search that main kw, check the top 3 ranking urls, their exact pages for their ranking kws to see if they have some new kws they are ranking for, if yes, I will change my main kws and will optimize that post for the new kw I found.

Also, this Blog didn’t see any new posts from a year or so. So, I am going to hunt new kws and add some new posts as well, the target is to do all of this before the Fifa Final of 2026 (20 July).

After this, the most important thing is tracking my position for these updated + new posts so I can select low hanging fruits and do some offpage on them to improve their positions…
